SAT: Scholastic Aptitude Test:
- SAT is required by students who wish to pursue their bachelor’s program in the USA. It is a simplified version of the GRE.
- The test comprises of three sections mainly, Math, English and writing ability. It lasts for about three hours and is a paper-based test. The cost of the test is approximately $117.
- It is scored out of 2400 and the student is required to get a minimum of 1600 at least.

- The test is administered around nine times in a year and the score is valid for five years.
